FAQs
TRAVEL TIME
Please be aware these shoots take time. Time to get to the location is usually 2-3 Hours each way
I’ve had a couple people ask if there is ay way to shoot the stars closer
1) No
2) If you’re in a rush, this isn’t the right project for you or me
SHOOT TIME
Get ready for this: each image can take 15-30 seconds. If that time, you may be standing frozen for 5-15 seconds of it. If you move, the shot is ruined and we need to shoot it again. 4 shots per minute.
STYLING
Nothing should distract from the main things: You, the sky, the earth. I want these images to stay eternal and classic. With that said, there are three main style refs I have been using:
• Conservative (black or white dresses)
• Tights (ripped or whole)
• Nude
PLEASE let me know if you have another idea! I am open! As long as we keep it about you and the night sky rather than about fashion. Absolutely, positively no ready-to-wear or Underwear that looks nude (either go nude or put some clothes on)
LOCATIONS

MILKY WAY vs MOON vs STARS
Milky Way appears best from May - October.
Moon appears best from th3 3/4 moon to full moon
A starry night is best anytime after the full moon passes until about 1/4
SAFETY
Three things to look out for:
1. Animals: Most animals are scared of us. We are in bear or cat country,
2. People: Most of the places we go are far from people. Most mountain people are like animals and want to be left alone. If anyone ever approaches and either you or I feel uncomfortable, we pack up and move along
3. The Dark
THERE IS NO PHONE SERVICE
There isn’t any. Zero. Zilch. None. Once we leave civilization, we may get a few bars every hour or two in random places but that isn’t guaranteed. Let your fam, bf, gf, or whoever know that you will be without service for a few hours. If they follow your location, let them know you will not be visible for a few hours.
Also - give them my number and let them know I can’t be contacted as well.
WHAT TO BRING:
Shoes you can slip on or off easily (CROCS?! But warm Crocs)
Blanket
Sweat pants/shirt (please be mindful if you plan to shoot nude - take off anything tight that may create marks on your skin)
Flashlight with Red Light (Red Light lets you maintain your night vision). Your phone will fuck up your and my vision so please don’tr plan to use it as a flashlight. It takes about 30 minutes, but you
