CURRENT Personal PROJECTS

Below is a roster of the main projects I’m currently working on for art exhibitions, wall art, books, zines, and more.

I kindly and humbly ask curators, gallerists and others from the art world to reach out if you’re interested in featuring me.

Mother Earth

Not to be confused with the Mother Nature series (below), Mother Earth is a series full of questions:

“What if we misunderstood Mother Earth?

What if she’s just as fascinated and curious about the stars and humans as we are of her?

What if she loves our power and wisdom as much as we love hers?

What if she’s watching us when we look at constellations or check out our reflections in the water?

Here we see her voyeuristic perspective as she makes connections between earth, people, time, and the stars.

CASTING: Open to all women 18+ who are comfortable with nudity. Must be able to stay still for long periods of time.

 Mother Nature

Mother Nature is a special place full of magical landscapes for wood, water and forest nymphs to explore.

Mountains, rivers, oceans, deserts and other spaces create a fantasy world to conduct stories and vibes of freedom and escape. It’s a reminder that the great outdoors is where we truly find ourselves.

The scenes and images for Mother Nature often reflect freedom and dominion. It’s a constant connection with nature and her elements.

CASTING: Open to all. Must love nature.

DREAMSCAPES

This series is the basis for most of my work. The idea is “did you ever have a dream that you couldn’t explain?”

Dreams are strange. This series (and much of my work) is playing with obtuse imagery that is connected to the dream world.

Your friends face started to distort and she couldn’t put it back? You were skateboarding through a cemetery? You lived underwater? You had sex with a friend? This is the space for the more imaginative and loose ideas.

The dream world is all about fantasy. And the dreamscape series explores some of our weirdest ideas.

CASTING: Open to all.

Cinema I

What if you opened a drawer and found images and you couldn’t tell if they were real, or scenes from a film?

That is the basis of this series.

Cinema (1) is focused on themes of surrender, emotions, fantasy, glamour, sex, death, and surrealism.

This series gives a nod to 60’s and 70’s art house films, as well as psycho-sexual thriller films from the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s - none of which would get produced today.

CASTING: Open to all.

Cinema iI

A continuation of Cinema 1, Cinema 2 is more graphic and disturbing.

This series of work is based on horror films and true crime podcasts. Since my worlds are almost 100% inhabited by women, this means they are portrayed as both the predator and the prey in this collection - and sometimes they are one and the same.

Common themes in this series include blood, confinement, messiness, hysteria, resolve, sadism, masochism, and the power from inner strength whilst our heroins face challenging elements.

Every image begs the question “was this real? what happened? Are these people ok?”

CASTING: Open to all.

Spiritual Materialism

Deconstructing what it means to be human. This series is created by letting go of the sense of self and style, and dropping in to the moment.

Shapes, movement, body, raw materials, and transcendental moments together in images create each moment that is documented.

The wardrobe is simple: tights reconstructed as clothes as well as dirt, charcoal, found trash, and whatever else we can find.

CASTING: Open to all. Must be comfortable in skin tight/form fitting material (tights).

Vernon

Vernon is a project juxtaposing the temporary nature of youth and beauty alongside the difficult world of a blue collar industrial landscapes.

Here we witness blunt dichotomies:
Hard and Soft,
Human and Industrial,
Masculine and Feminine.

It’s a human centipede without the vulgarity. The images are a result of a unique situation where the talent can safely explore a dangerous world.

Due to the nature of industrial parks, these scenes each take time to locate and result in a moment where we see a flash of personal rapture for the individuals being photographed.

CASTING: Open to all.

Thirst Traps

This isn’t the most intellectual series.

Sex sells. Sexy sells.

But in a world of social politics, “pretty and thin” is abhorred. And what’s worse than Pretty privilege? The male gaze.

So I figure I should double down on behalf of everyone who just wants to enjoy life.

This is a series reserved for select models, influencers, actors, close friends, artists, and musicians who DGAF. It gives the world what we almost all want from time to time: attractive women shot with the male gaze.

CASTING: Open to all.

Phenomena

This is a celebration of Father Time. It’s a meditation on our temporary shared existence with earth and space.

Common friends of this series are the moon, stars, earth, and the unexplained.

Find me shooting this in the mountains, in burnt down forests, on islands, along the ocean, in the desert and anywhere else uninhabited by crowds where I’m able to see the night sky.

CASTING: Open to Planet Earth, Father Time, The Moon, The occasional wanderer.

Home Alone

Home Alone is a simple series that explores people in their own homes. The images have a more open interpretation while the focus is on the model, her home, and her experience in the space.

CASTING: Open to all who have a home of some sort.
