SWIM SERIES

Sometimes I think about running away to an island and just shooting for brands. This is a step in that direction. While I’ve worked on a few swim brands, I have never fully worked on a proper portfolio and fleshed out a definitive style - so that is what this is for.

NOTES: When shot in LA, these are shot hella early (sunrise) to avoid crowds.

STARS

This series started in 2019 and has progressed since. The idea is simple: Mother Earth watches women and the sky in admiration. This is about being human, spiritual, raw, and strongly feminine. It’s dedicated to humanity as a whole, and deeply inspired by the idea of those who are connected with the soil and sky.

The process: This series only works in areas with little to no light pollution. This means we will be driving 2-3 hours outside of LA. We usually leave in the day, get a few day shots, and wait for after sunset for the sky to open. 95% of the time we end up talking about stars, space, life, death, and the deeper meaning of things.

Styling: Either nude or “eternal.” Nothing pop or trendy. Nothing your great-grandmother couldn’t have worn, and nothing your great-granddaughter couldn’t wear.

Notes: It gets COLD. You have to stand still for 5-12 seconds at a time. Please also be aware that these are time-sensitive: the Milky Way, Comets, Moon Cycles, and other celestial activities are on their schedule. Those who cancel last minute are not invited back.
