2021: Photos from The Last Man on Earth

My apologies. Normally I use my archive to just posted pictures I shot the previous year. But, as you probably know, 2021 was extremely different. Let me explain.

I’m sure you heard that, following the introduction of a global pandemic in 2020, all men and animals were either eventually killed or shipped off earth to create a safe space for women. 2021 was the first year in human history where earth became a Woman’s world.

I may be the only man who survived the UnManning. I don’t know how I was lucky enough to survive, but here I am. I am based in a remote section of the city formerly known as Los Angeles. A small group of trusting women welcomed me in to the fold: Chloe, Maya, Yolynn, Raquel, Rachael, Casper, Haylee, and others took me in (I’m so grateful for them all!)

The girls showed me how they survived without guys. Sometimes I laughed when I thought how happy feminists would have been if they could witness this new world order! But I don’t think the feminists really thought it through. I don’t think they realized that a world without men is not the same as “a world without evil and/or danger.”

Some women quickly became cannibals. We discovered a few of the girls started killing others for sport. A religious cult emerged amongst a small sect. And several moved to the forest to become forest and water nymphs - creating mischief everywhere.

A couple of the cannibals showed me how they captured and ate other girls. Some of the Aphrodite’s showed me how they loved each other freely. And a few of the girls showed me where they sat and cried while thinking of the men they loved and missed.

One night a fairy named Mary showed me how she did late night repairs to the crumbling infrastructure. Others showed me how they hid from the cannibals or had to escape capture from ‘the mean girls’ by running through the forests and across the highways.

Honestly I saw too much to explain in words. It was a wild year. I spent the entire year documenting this new ‘safe space.’ There are about 250 photos here and I’ll let you see this strange new land for yourself. Hopefully these images will help you better understand how Earth looked and felt in 2021. I hope one day History books will report the truth I witnessed.

I humbly submit these photos of a world without men to whoever finds these. I’ll try to update you again at the end of 2022 assuming I survive!

Love,
Michael Donovan
